I have never been a blogger. I have also always had a terrible memory. So this is my latest attempt at improving upon that fact. By being reflective....because I'm not.
I thought it was appropriate at church this morning... the pastor talked a little about memorizing scripture and how people act like memorizing things takes out the creativity. But, this is different. I'm not making my own new Bible, I'm trying to follow the one that has already been created. So I was thinking about it...and I decided that I need to be better about it. I used to be a little better about memorizing verses. And the thing about it is, it is something that's actually really good in everyday life. There have been so many times that a verse that is relevant to what I am thinking or talking about has popped into my head. So I need to memorize more so that this will happen more often. It is my desire to be a better Christian, but I feel so terrible at it! Anyway. That's my main priority in life.
So here's to memorizing more of the Bible and trying to remember more of my life through blogging the mundane things in my life.
